Final Game Post Reflection

Making this game was really fun. It was cool to be able to use everything I've learned about scratch and put it into one game. Entering this unit, I didn't know anything about the scratch program and after I feel really confident with it. The idea for my game came from the hide and seek scratch game we played in class. I didn't have a problem programming each sprite to hide, move to a random location, and then show themselves again, though I could not figure out for the longest time how to get them to show up in a different background. I spent the majority of a class period trying to figure it out. The backdrop would switch but my sprites would not be there, then with 2 minutes left of class I realized it was because they were still programmed to be hiding, so all I had to do was add the "show" button. I started off with the idea that the game would only last 30 seconds and the goal would be to try to gain as many points in that time span as you could, but then I decided I wanted levels. I wanted the game to get increasingly difficult so I forgot the timer aspect and instead gradually decreased  the time in which they would appear on the screen for you to click. The game turned out really nice and I am very proud of it.
